越南外交部星期天表示，两艘中共政府船只上星期三（6月10日）在中共i所称的西沙群岛海域追击一艘越南渔船，其中4006号海警船撞击了这艘渔船，导致渔船进水，16名渔民弃船逃生。中国共海警船后来将其中一些渔民救起。中共单方面实施季节性禁鱼令，但这项禁令不被越南接受。
