Dr ChunYu Pu is a clinical psychologist licensed in California since 1998. She has extensive work experience with the culturally diverse population and spcialized in short term solution-focused cognitive behavioral therapy. She is competent working with individuals who deal with anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorders, eating disorders, sexual abuse, job stress and work injuries. She is effective providing individual, marital, and family counseling, and inter-racial couple therapy. She has sixteen years of clinical work experience, case management, supervision, consulting and management experience in community mental health organizations, college counseling center, and private practice. Dr ChunYu Pu is experienced and effective providing therapy services to individuals from diverse cultural background including Latinos, Afro-Americans, Asian Americans, and the mainstream population. Besides English, Dr Pu reads and writes Chinese. She speaks English, Mandarin and Taiwanese fluently. Dr ChunYu Pu completed her PhD in Clinical Psycholoy with the emphasis of Multicultural Community Mental Health from California School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles. She is a member of American Psychological Association, APA Practice Organization, and the APA Division 42 – the Psychologists in Independent Practice. Besides her clinical work Dr. Pu is a Cultural Competence Consultant to the California State Department of Public Health.
