The restaurant Famous Sichuan located on 10 Pell St, New York is a traditional and authentic Sichuan restaurant, the chefs are all from Sichuan with more than 30 years’ experience in cooking. Because of the hygienic conditions of the restaurant and a comfortable dining environment, Famous Sichuan is not only a favorite of Asian customers but also has won the acceptance of western guests. Some special dishes are Spicy Duck in Sichuan Style, Spicy and Hot Bean Curd, Twice-cooked Pork with Chilli Seasoning, Spicy Fish. He also mentioned another indispensable dish- Chongqing Hot Pot. 食客点评辣子鸡:“本来我以为要等很久的,结果才坐一会儿,菜“唰唰”就上了,首先我要强烈推荐他们家的重庆辣子鸡。这道菜上来之前我并不抱太高期望,因为我吃过很多辣子鸡,要么就是太硬,要么就是鸡肉软踏踏的,要么就是里面没入味。但是他们家的辣子鸡真是没!话!说!以前我觉得外酥里嫩这个词很俗,现在发现也找不到其它词来形容了。最主要的是,它很入味!!!!!香、麻、辣都有了,而且嚼着嚼着还有一种香甜的感觉。”
