We are proud of New York Chinese School. It is a community school established in 1909 with 113 years of history. The founding purpose of NYCS differs from other for-profit Chinese schools; NYCS has been playing a successful role in performing its mission. That is why we mostly volunteers are fully dedicated to serving our community even under the threat of COVID-19.

Our Strengths:

New York Chinese School is a non-profit organization. All our staff is dedicated to upgrading teaching quality and providing the most enjoyable learning environment.

We are proud to announce that we recruited teachers who obtained bachelor or master degrees from Columbia Teacher College, Hunter College, New York City College.

We offer scholarships for our graduate classes. The graduation reward for primary school (6th grade) will be 100 dollars. For junior high school graduates (9th grade) it will be 300 dollars. For high school graduates, it will be 1000 dollars. The graduation funds were generously initiated by Eric Ng, former Chairman of the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association and Chairman of New York Chinese School, founder of Wonton Food Ching Sun Wong, CEO Norman Wong, and director Ho Sing Lee.

Our school was established in1909. NYCS is the largest campus in North America.

In addition to providing excellent professional teachers, it also prioritizes campus safety and environmental cleanliness.

Not only learning at NYCS, we are hoping that the students can know as well as promote our Chinese culture and value and then give back to our communities in the future. In Particular, we wish they would be willing to continue to build up a good image of Asians in the mainstream.

The textbooks are sponsored by the Consular Office, Taiwan Republic of China.

We need your support to help promote our programs to your friends and community. Your sponsorship of New York Chinese school will also be most appreciated. We pray together the epidemic will end soon and everyone can return to a normal life.

Sincerely,

Teachers and Volunteers Staff and Principal Jennifer Wang at New York Chinese School.

it was happened on April 3, 2022. that day i decided to talk to the manager. (dancing studio Address: 4913 7th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11220) i believe they turn off theri google comment. I wish I could give Zero Star. My daughter told me that her jazz teacher Ashley does not like her and yell at her. My daughter is a big kid, she can figure out others kind or not during the relationship. She really like dancing and that’s why I sent her to the class. She went to the class once a week. At the first and second week, she is acting really excited either went to the dancing studio or I picked up her after the dancing class. At the starting of third week, fourth week and fifth week, she was totally not okay. She was being frustrate and she was really down after the dancing class. Then I finally decided to talk to the manager of the dancing studio about this. You know what? The manager who is about 40 years old, I believe she is one of the owner of the studio, she was really rude and uneducational. She refused to accept the teacher Ashley treated my kid badly, instead, she blamed my kid. She kept talking and talking and no allowed you have a chance to speak. it really sucks! Why she deal things this way? First, if the parents sue the dancing studio, it will damage their business. Second, the studios is only accept cash no checks no credit cards.(when kids sign up to the class, parents all pay cash.) Does the owner file all their earnings to IRS? Who knows? The dancing teachers may do. In the studio, they are not only a teacher but also a receptionist. Third, the owner really need these teachers work for her, pay them low salary and make big money for her. When things happen, blamed your kids is the only way to protect their business. That is really sucks! Because when you signed out since you complain, they believe they only lose one customer. By the way, when I called to the studio and I said I need to talk to the manager, but the girl respond me that they do not have manager. I insisted I need someone in charged. Then she had manager to picked up the phone. I am really disappointed to this place. They have huge advertisement to attract people to join up, but I still advised parents before you send your kids there, please think twice!!! I almost forgot, I still want to say, Ashley, you are just a bitch!!!!
