Welcome to the Center for Natural Fertility and Women’s Health. We provide acupuncture and herbal therapy for women seeking a natural pregnancy or planning to use assisted reproductive techniques such as IUI and IVF. The Center was founded and directed by Dr. Guoping Zheng O.M.D., Ph.D. and is conveniently located near Columbus Circle in Manhattan. We are one of the few clinics in the U.S. that are completely devoted to infertility treatment and women’s health using acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. We have developed a unique approach with 30 years of specialized training and experience in the U.S. and China.

We work with a wide variety of fertility issues including premature ovarian aging, poor ovarian reserve, poor egg quality, luteal phase defect, thin endometrial lining, endometriosis, unexplained infertility, recurrent miscarriage, blood-clotting and immunological disorders. We treat male fertility issues as well (low sperm count, poor sperm motility and poor sperm morphology). Our overall success rate for pregnancy, including women with severe infertility, is about 45%. A patient with an FSH of 98 was able to conceive after two months of treatment in our clinic and she had a beautiful baby boy in August 2009.

We believe in an integrative approach to TCM and Western medicine. Traditional Chinese Medicine is ever more frequently practiced in close conjunction with Western Medicine. The two disciplines have become increasingly integrated to provide optimal outcomes for a variety of medical conditions. Our method is based on an understanding of both TCM and Western theories of physiology and disease as well as TCM and Western diagnostics. Sometimes we use knowledge of Western medicine to enhance TCM treatment and sometimes we tailor our treatments to match and enhance the course of Western protocols.
